Yesterday was my grandothers birthday so I called her and we somehow ended up talking about why my mother doesn't try to make me go to church. Now I don't remember this particular event but she swears it's true and my mother confirmed so here goes:

When I was but a wee tot, my mom did make me go to church. In our particualr church on the sunday before your birthday you had to fill out a questionaire and read it to the primary place thing. So me and four other lucky children were assigned this task a few days before I turned six.
While all the other children went back to their mothers and whatnot to get aid in their survey I sat on the ground and refused help from both my mother and grandmother. Because my birthday was furthest away I had to go last, but I definitely made an impression....
The questions were typical:
What do you want to be when you grow up and why? Most children put dr or vet because they wanted to help people or they loved animals. I put Milkman and why not?
There were other clear differences between me and the other children but the one that really got me in trouble was the Who is your hero and why? question.
Every other child put either their mom dad or jesus for obvious reasons. I put Batman, because he is cool.

Apparantly the ladies in charge got angry with me cause they thought I was making fun of them or something, and I told them to shut up and leave me alone. Then my mom took me home and we never went back.

My grandmother was mortified.
